Semmes Welcomes Two Attorneys to Litigation Practice

Semmes is pleased to welcome Simone T. Fair and Trevor F. Gee to the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Fair and Mr. Gee will both serve as associate and will be based out of the firm’s Baltimore office. They will assist in serving the firm’s litigation teams as national and regional counsel on behalf of individual corporations in industry-wide products liability litigation, environmental litigation, and insurance coverage litigation before courts throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Semmes, Ms. Fair was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Erik S. Atas at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and was an undergraduate intern for the Honorable Brook Lierman, District 46 of the Maryland Legislature. She earned her J.D. from Penn State Law at The Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, she worked for the in-house legal departments of both American Eagle Outfitters and Teleflex LLC, where she gathered experience in a multitude of areas of law.

Mr. Gee previously worked as in-house counsel for GEICO and as fee counsel for one of the nation’s largest transportation network companies at a prominent defense firm located throughout the southeastern United States. He has successful jury and bench trial experience as well as motion practice in state and federal court. In addition to being admitted in Maryland, Mr. Gee is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts as well as the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Louisiana.
