Semmes Elevates Jillian M. Petrella to Principal and Colin C. Smith to Counsel

Semmes is pleased to announce the elevation of attorneys Jillian M. Petrella to principal and Colin C. Smith to counsel of the firm.

Jillian is a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability and Longshore and Defense Base Act practices. She represents employers and insurance companies in the defense of workers’ compensation claims in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and federally under the Longshore and Defense Base Acts.

Colin is also a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation & Employers’ Liability practice group. He represents employers and insurers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims in Maryland before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, on appeal in courts throughout the state of Maryland, and before the Appellate Court of Maryland and the Supreme Court of Maryland.
