Semmes has earned recognition as one of Maryland’s 2026 Best Companies to Work For. The Daily Record presents the award in partnership with BridgeTower Media and Best Companies Group.

The Best Companies to Work For in Maryland program recognizes employers that foster strong workplace cultures and positive employee experiences. Best Companies Group evaluates workplace practices, programs, policies, and benefits. The organization also collects confidential employee feedback as part of the selection process.

Organizations must meet several requirements to qualify for consideration. They must maintain operations in Maryland, employ at least 15 full- or part-time employees in the state, and operate for at least one year. Best Companies Group manages the registration process, conducts the surveys, and determines the final rankings using its established methodology.
