Heather Kraus Named Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers

Semmes is proud to announce that principal Heather Kraus was named a Fellow in the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. Membership in the college is by nomination only and honors attorneys who have practiced for at least 20 years and have distinguished themselves with excellent character, leadership, and legal skill.

Ms. Kraus represents employers and their insurers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. She is a member and Chair of the Advisory Committee on the Budget of the Workers’ Compensation Commission, and a member of the Board of Directors and past President of the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association.

Ms. Kraus will be officially inducted into the college at the American Bar Association TIPS conference in May.
