Veronica Love is an Associate in the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Practice. She represents employers and insurance companies in the defense of workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to joining Semmes, Ms. Love was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Brenda A. Sexton of the Circuit Court for Cecil County. She also clerked for the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. While in law school, Ms. Love interned with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, as well as Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services.
She graduated magna cum laude from Christian Brothers University with a major in English and a minor in History. She earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was a member of the BLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team, Phi Alpha Delta, Students Supporting the Women’s Law Center, and served as Maryland Law Ambassador and Maryland Law Peer Advisor.
