Mr. Georgas an Associate in the Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Practice. His practice focuses on representing employers and insurance companies in the defense of workers’ compensation claims before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and on appeal in Circuit Courts throughout Maryland.
Mr. Georgas graduated from Towson University in 2010 where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Law and American Society with a minor in Political Science. There, he founded the Greek Heritage Society.
While in law school, Mr. Georgas logged over 1000 clinical hours in service of indigent clients and was awarded an Equal Justice America Summer Fellowship. He was also active in the Asian and Pacific American Law Student Association, the Women’s Law Society, the Student Trial Lawyer Association, and the International Human Rights Law Student Association.
Prior to joining Semmes, Mr. Georgas was an Associate at a firm in Baltimore representing clients in Workers’ Compensation, criminal, and personal injury cases.
