Experience

Jose L. Estrada is counsel in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing employers and insurance companies in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Jose began his career representing claimants in workers’ compensation claims in D.C. and then transferred his skills to the defense of employers and insurance companies with Semmes in 2015. He then joined a major insurance company as in-house counsel, litigating workers’ compensation claims in D.C. and Maryland. Jose was most recently an Administrative Law Judge with the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings before returning to Semmes.
