Jillian M. Petrella is a principal in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability and Longshore and Defense Base Act practices. She represents employers and insurance companies in the defense of workers’ compensation claims in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and federally under the Longshore and Defense Base Acts.

Jillian graduated from William Smith College with a degree in Sociology and from Tulane Law School with her J.D. Prior to joining Semmes, Jillian represented whistleblowers in federal and state qui tam actions and represented claimants in workers’ compensation claims in D.C. and under the Defense Base Act.
