Experience

Ms. Gerbes has represented employers and their insurers in both workers compensation and liability cases for many years in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Workers Compensation claims are handled from the hearing level through all stages of appeal including jury trials at the Circuit Courts and appellate briefs and arguments at the Court of Special Appeals and Court of Appeals of Maryland. Similarly, she has handled numerous liability cases through the trial and appellate stages and is well versed in the interplay between the compensation and liability aspects of a claim. She is of counsel in the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation & Employers’ Liability practice group.
