Experience
Hudson T. Sauls is an attorney in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation & Employers’ Liability Practice Group. He represents employers and insurers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims in Maryland.
Prior to joining Semmes, Hudson was an associate at a Maryland workers’ compensation firm representing claimants in workers’ compensation cases and managing the intake of mass tort claims referred to outside counsel. He was also an assistant general counsel for the Florida Department of Health, investigating and recommending resolution of claims against nursing and other healthcare licensees, as well as litigating disputes of fact before the Florida Department of Administrative Hearings.
As a law student, he served as a research assistant to J. Maria Glover, professor of complex litigation at Georgetown University Law Center. He also competed in the ELSA Moot Court competition on WTO law and in the BLSA Mock Trial competition.
Hudson also has experience as a certified public accountant in a regional public accounting firm preparing personal and business tax returns, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and participating in various audit engagements.
