Daniel J. O’Hara joined Semmes as Counsel in the Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Practice in 2021. He brings over 13 years of experience in workers’ compensation matters. Daniel also brings 2 ½ years of experience in all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including, but not limited to claims involving construction defects, construction site injuries, slip and falls, medical malpractice, Eighth Amendment correctional medicine, automobile accidents, product liability, workers’ compensation, employment disputes, contract disputes, Maryland Insurance Administration claims, housing discrimination, and employment discrimination.
Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Ohio University, where he was active with the Acacia Fraternity and Habitat for Humanity. He earned his J.D. from the Regent University School of Law, focusing his coursework on torts, health care law and labor law. He was also a member of the University’s Business Law Society and International Law Society.
Prior to joining Semmes, Daniel was an associate attorney at two prominent Maryland law firms.
