Carlos A. Nieto

Experience

Carlos Nieto is a Principal in the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation & Employers’ Liability Practice. His practice focuses on representing employers and insurance companies in the defense of workers’ compensation claims before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and on appeal in courts throughout Maryland.

Mr. Nieto graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Thereafter, he attended Florida State University College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2012. Prior to joining Semmes, Bowen & Semmes, Mr. Nieto represented plaintiffs in automotive tort cases and claimants before the Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Mr. Nieto is fluent in Spanish.
