West Virginia FY 2021 Workers’ Compensation Rates

The West Virginia Office of the Insurance Commissioner has recently issued the new State average weekly wage for fiscal year 2021 (7/1/20 – 6/30/21).

For injuries occurring on or after July 1, 2020, the following maximum weekly worker’s compensation rates are effective in West Virginia:

Temporary total, permanent total and vocational rehabilitation benefits: $885.32 (paid at two thirds of the claimant’s average weekly wage not to exceed 100% of the State average weekly wage);

Permanent partial and non-awarded partial benefits: $619.73 (paid at two thirds of the claimant’s average weekly wage not to exceed 70% of the State average weekly wage).

Current mileage reimbursement rate: 57.5 cents as of 1/1/20.
